MYLES MUNROE: LESSONS FROM HIS SUDDEN DEPARTURE: FOR PASTORS, BISHOPS AND APOSTLES ONLY Putting our ears to the ground, I think it is very obvious that the sudden departure of Dr. Myles Munroe, one of our global Charismatic Movements icons has shaken the Body of Christ. It has divinely brought to the open market discussion platforms of the world the secret question of Charismatic Successions - especially within the African segment of the Charismatic movement. (I single out Africa, because the credit history of smooth Leadership Successions isnt quite pretty) What really is going on in the hearts and minds of our Charismatic Pastors, Bishops and Apostles concerning the now naked question of Succession plans. What has happened in The Bahamas is challenging us to discuss this issue clearly, with all maturity and Gods help. If, even within the dirty politics of worldly governments, Succession plans are openly written and made clear in their public Constitutions, then I think it behooves the citizens of Gods Kingdom to also think and talk about what their church Constitutions and Founders also say. Of course, names of Successors may not be necessarily thrown out there, but the paths to smooth transitions must be clear to all. The availability of a well-groomed, mentored and prepared loyal Lieutenants made ready over the years gives calm assurance to all - of course, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is both a natural and spiritual desire, and probably it is every citizens human rights. After all, Jesus, our only Living Example, did not dodge this issue, but faced it head on. Shall we?
