DREAM INTERPRETATION VS DREAM TRANSLATION (..........OF DREAMS AND INTERPRETATIONS A journey to having a successfully dream life and interpretation) part 2 Welcome to todays edition of our series. Having dealt with the sources and various types of dreams, we will further consider DREAM INTERPRETATION today. very quickly you must realize that there is a difference between TRANSLATING a dream and INTERPRETING a dream. EXAMPLE 1 (I had this dream when I was a member of a special prayer squad about 11 years ago) We were in a war front. we killed all our foes as our army advanced. Then we entered a part of the forest where we met another set soldiers as we were killing them, this soldier approached me, I shot him hard, but he didnt die. He almost hit me down with his hands but some how I managed to dodge it. He went on, made a U-turn, I was shivering already (laughs) then I started shooting him, but it didnt affect him. As he was getting close, I heard a voice tell me to shoot his eyes. I did and guess what? he BUSTED and died. I took a breathe of relieve then suddenly, another bald headed soldier showed up again and was coming towards me (oh my God!) then I woke up (extracts from dream diary 2003) To translate this dream is to seek to know the meaning of the forest, the soldiers, bald headed soldier, the gun, the eyes, everybody in the dream, the u-turn etc. This alone will surely lead to error (so many folks are more prone to this type of approach) To INTERPRET this dream, firstly you need to get the setting of the scenes, who is this dream for and what message is it trying to convey (personally i think dream interpretation and bible translation have great similarities and should be approached the same way because a dream is also God speaking to you) The battle field/army shows its not just a personal message.... its both for everybody in the prayer band.... whats the message? we have entered a higher realm where our victory will not come by conventional prayers but by Holy Ghost inspired revelation and direction. Conclusion: be sober, attentive and obedient to divine instruction and victory is sure. Next time you have a dream, dont just jump into the whole scenario... no no no!!!! understand its a message, get the setting, the central message. Every other thing like colour, objects people etc will be BONUS. Above all the same way you RELY ON THE HOLY SPIRIT TO UNDERSTAND THE BIBLE, SO ALSO YOU MUST RELY ON HIM TO INTERPRET YOUR DREAMS..... that all for today next week will be .....PRACTICALS AND FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS.
