DROGBA BACKS MOURINHO BUILDING THE BRIDGE Chelsea legend Didier Drogba has backed Jose Mourinho to build another great team at Stamford Bridge which can dominate in years to come. Drogba was brought into Stamford Bridge in 2004 at the start of Mourinhos 1st spell in charge of the club,which brought a haul of 2 Premier League titles,an FA Cup&2 League Cups in 3 full seasons. The Ivorian striker saw 1st-hand what the new Mourinho side can do when he returned to Stamford Bridge in the Champions League in midweek as his present team Galatasaray lost 2-0 to go out 3-1 on aggregate. And the 36yrs- old,who was given a heros welcome,believes the Portuguese tactician can build another great team. He told the Daily Star: They are efficient. They are playing well,playing good. Its like a new team&they will get better&better. They are a good team. I dont see why Jose cannot make them better&build another great team here starting with these players. Why not? They are intelligent&they are capable of good football. Why not? It is a good squad. People complain about the strikers not scoring but against us they have proved that they are scoring goals. TITLE PUSH The Blues are pushing to reclaim the Premier League title last won in 2010&are through to the last 8 of the Champions League,which they won in 2012. Players such as John Terry&Frank Lampard have won the title before&Drogba believes this experience can only help in the race for silverware. Chelsea have a big chance this year,which is good for the club because to go 3 or 4yrs without winning it is too much for a big club like them, he added. It will be great if they can go on&do it. I would be very happy. They know how to handle this situation. They know how to win important games&to make the difference. When I was there,we were never in the position where we were top of the league at this stage of the season&we let it go. So the players who were there then will be very important if Chelsea are to win it this season.
