DRUMMER Bay gelding, born 9th December 2007. He is around 16hh (can measure him with a tape if needed). He is 1/3 Gisborne breed, 1/3 Cleveland Bay, 1/2 TB. Drummer is an amazing eye catching looking boy. He is a lovely light mouthed ride, very responsive to aids, and ridden in a french link. Drummer has competed: Show Jumping this season to 1.05m, A Derby Day at Open height (he came 4th), Evented at Pre-Training (4th at Te Puke ODE), and he has also done Gamblers. Drummer has been swimming at lakes, ridden down Pukehina beach, trekked over farms, been to pony club, and has done a two day jumping clinic. Drummer has been schooling around level 2 & 3 Dressage, jumped courses at home to 1.20m and individual jumps to 1.48m (though Show Jumping is NOT Drummers specialty), he has also done Cross Country practices at Open height. Drummer is the most safest, trust worthy Cross Country horse you will ever ride (super fast and jumps everything!). He is very calm at competitions and doesnt stress out. Drummer does need some work on floating but wont take much if someone spends some time on it. I think Drummer would be a great project for someone wanting to make an AMAZING hunt horse, or a top Dressage mount (has beautiful movement), or an eventor (but they would need to work on his show jumping as he is too speedy and strong currently which causes him to knock 1-3 rails in a round). Drummer is a very special loved horse by me and he is up for sale, or possibly a lease. He will only go to an experienced home and rider, as he does have his moments and hasnt been in work for the past 4 weeks. The only reason he is up for sale is I have to many horses currently so I had to make the hard decision on who has to go. Drummer was wormed on the 17th of Jan (this month) and just recently had his hooves trimmed. I was wanting quite a high price for Drummer a few months ago but now that I cant find the time to put in and Im needing to down size you would be surprised with what Ill take so give me an offer :) He is located in Paengaroa. Drummer is not an easy kick along horse, he needs a light rider whos prepared to put him in his place when needed. I want him going to a competitive home. For more info text Monique on 0278853375. No dreamers or time wasters please.
