DS Rao Ji and I became very close due to PGD, not withstanding our relationship. He visited us from Chicago last year, exclusively to see me and talk about PGD, he said. We did discuss it a lot. We reminisced different songs, discussed tidbits about them with each other, agreed to disagree on some - pasand Apni Apni... We went to Boston Fine Arts Museum and spent the whole day together drinking in one art and discussing another. We spoke to him on the 5th and he was very positive and I had hoped that he would loose himself in PGD to deal with his pain due to surgery, about this time. We never expected this outcome! As a result, now I do not feel like opening the iPad at all! I am just grieving.... One of the songs he loved best, he said was this. He especially appreciated the line: ye roshni ke saath kyun, dhuan Utah Chirag se... He said, yedi, paadu - meaning, sing it? - so I did.
