DU Islamic History & Culture Dept. Alumni Association’s Iftar Mahfil held The Alumni Association of the Department of Islamic History & Culture, University of Dhaka had arranged an Iftar Mahfil (Party) on Friday, 26 July 2013 (16 Ramadan 1434 Hijri) at the special conference room of the Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban of the university. Prof. Dr. Shahid Akhtar Hossain, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Admin) of the university was present the function as chief guest while Prof. Dr. Md. Tawfiqul Haider, Chief Patron of the Alumni Association and Chairman, Department of Islamic History & Culture was present as special guest. H.E. Hossain Aminian Tousi, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Bangladesh was present as guest of honour. The Iftar Mahfil was presided over by Prof. Dr. Nazma Khan Majlis, Vice President of the Alumni Association.
