DUAS NOT GETTING ACCEPTED 4 UMMAH?[REALITY OF ISLAM AND BEING A TRUE MUSLIM] By Zaheer Mangerah Hudhaifah (May Allah bepleased with him) reported: The Prophet (PBUH) said, By Him in Whose Hand my life is, you either enjoin good and forbid evil, or Allah will certainly soon send His punishment to you. Then you will make supplication and it will not be accepted. [At-Tirmidhi]. Once maulana ilyas r.a was asked why iznt Allahs help with the muslims He asked him in returnif one person stealing and another person being stolen from who will Allah help The person repliedobviously the person being stolen from So maulana ilyas r.a then saidThe world is the prizon for the believer and a jannah for the disbeleaver,the muslims want to steal the non muslims jannah by making this world their jannah how can Help of Allah ever come? So many cases we see family members competing who got better car\house Whoz daughter got married first to a better spouse Who went for holiday to which destination This breeds jealousy and malice and families put on fake smiles on occasions but in reality they are trying to outdo one another in this temporary dunyah that will fade away People will even take Haraam interest loans and buy things through the bank just to get what they desire in this short life All this is signs of love of dunya and a sign of lack of Iman This world is just for us to survive and pass the tests that Allah gives us nothing more our attention at all times needs to be the pleasure of Allah and we need to enjoin others with the same as well otherwise their is almost no difference between our thinking and that of the kufar besides our muslim names because we were born muslims and the little bit of outer salaah zikr etc that we do which does not form the essence of Islam Let me produce one example from the lives of sahabah to show how far we have drifted,and we have been brainwashed to saywell they are sahabah They had the true spirit of islam nabi s.a.w said the people who are saved are those that hold on to the way of sahabah.Islam reached great heights in the time of sahabah and will today if we change our mindsets and at least try our best to live with their spirit Allah saysdo you think you will be left alone because u say I beleaveand u will not be tested?? Later on Allah describes the reason for the test,The reason is to filter out those that are true in their proclamation of faith and iman and those that are false Allah promises help to the true beleavers in quran we should ask ourselves is Allah lying or are we?? Their must be something we are doing wrong and do not realise STORY ABU DAHDAH R.A AND HIS EXCHANGE FOR A DATE PALM IN JANNAH Once an orphan came to nabi s.a.w with tears in his eyes.He complained that next to the property his father had left him was a landowner who owned many trees which bore much fruit and their was one tree whoz fruit was hanging on his side he requested that can the man at least give him that tree Nabi s.a.w called the land owner and told him if he gives the orphan the tree he will get a tree in jannah the land owner refused.End of the day it was his right and nabi s.a.w didnt wish to force him to give so he apologised to the young orphan and the land owner was walking away The sahabi abu dahda r.a was watching this whole scene and observing what was happening. Abu dahda r.a was also a land owner he owned a large date orchard which was the envy of the people,It gave of sweet water and fruits and his family loved to play in its fields He ran after the land owner Our of breath he reached the land owner and exclaimedSell me that tree of yours The man repliedI never sell it to nabi s.a.w u think Im going to sell it to u????? Abu dahda r.a then saidYOU can take my entire orchard just give me that tree The man was shocked he saidare u joking with me oh abu dahda? Abu dahda r.a replied in the negative the man accepted the offer same time Abu dahda then made his way back to nabi s.a.w and asked Oh nabi of Allah was this offer of the date palm in jannah only for that man? Nabi s.a.w saidno its for anyone He then saidoh nabi of Allah s.a.w I have purchased this date palm for the orphan Nabi s.a.w smiled and saidmany date palms in jannah for u oh abu dahda! So abu dahda r.a returned home his wife and chid where playing in the orchard when they saw him they where overjoyed His wife askedOh abu dahda where were u lost?why have u come late? He repliedI had just made a deal with nabi s.a.w The wife enquiredwhat deal have u made? He saidI have given this orchard for a date palm in jannah His wife then replied in excitementWell done well done!what an excellent transaction Her son had some dates in his hand she opened his hand and saidoh my son this does not belong to us anymoreand they walked out And like this abu dahda gave his most prized posession for a date palm in jannah My dear brothers,sisters,mothers and fathers this is what Islam is all about,its about making sacrifices in dunyah for Aaakhirah and this is what being a true muslim and feeling a real connection with Allah is about When ebrahim a.s put the knife on the neck of ismail r.a he had already passed the test.The test was not to slaughter his son but rather to slaughter the love for his son in his heart Anything that comes in the way of the command of Allah and prevents us then we should slaughter it by putting the command of Allah first All good in this ummah stems from true iman When true iman is built people will make sacrifices for each other love others and put others first for Allah and for aakhirah,mariages will improve.business dealings will come in order and taqwa will prevail People will realise how much Allah controls and life will come into our ibadah I have been for tabligh Alhamdulillah and I feel that in reality this was supposed to be the object of tabligh ie to build that true iman It doesnt have to be done only in tabligh.In our life we have to build it by putting the commands of Alllah first and sacrificing some ambition,some emotion etc for Allah You will never attend piety until u spend from that which u love We should sacrifice our beloved ambitions etc if it goes against the command of Allah Every choice should be taken as Dunyah or aakhirah This way an environment of true submision will be made if people set the example be ready to feel that pain and lay the foundation of sacrifice for Allah and encourage others to do so when such an environment is created then it will become much easier for all to sacrifice and people will compete with one another in sacrificing for Aakhirah I urge all to at least give some time to ponder over this May Allah grant me first the ability and taufiqh to practice and may he grant the entire ummah the realisation
