DUE TO NEGLECT I CANT SEE! I was supposed to be a stud dog for a pit bull breeder. GoR got a call about me and came to take me away from the life I was meant to live. Like so many calls they get each day, today was my turn. Although I suffer from a painful condition, I consider myself Lucky. My name is Gunner, I am a one and half year old Blue Nose. I have severe Entropion eyelids. My eyelashes grew inward and since this has been since birth, there is some irreparable damage to my eyes from the chronic irritation. I am getting surgery at Grady Animal Hospital tomorrow. My life has been one of pain. Now I look forward to a pain free life full of love, peace, happiness and hopefully will be able to see my new friends too! This is one day in the life of Guardians of Rescue. One dog at a time. Today, that dog is me...Gunner. I will be available for adoption at our shelter partner Save-A-Pet Animal Rescue once I am healed. Dont worry, I hold no grudges.
