DUSTING…. Looks Like I will be incorporating an additional step this weekend. I am planning on taking down my easy breezy twisted up do Friday evening; I will then place each section in single braids and begin "dusting" the ends. Once I am done, I will take out the braids and begin with my deep conditioning mix that was left over from last weekend. This will be an overnight process. This will be my first time dusting.....not bad considering that I made it close to 13 months without trimming. I am heat free so the need to dust/trim would be on a low level basis. I also do not have single strand knot concerns, which may create the need to dust/trim more. HOWEVER I have learned to exert a little more patience when detangling my hair. Instead of standing, I now sit and detangle while watching TV. Overall the detangling sessions are not bad however there have been a few here and there in which I now realize I could have handled that section with a little more patience. I anticipate dusting every 12/13 months. It is my hopes to present a you tube video of the entire process.
