Dacorum & Tring Road Runners were at it again this weekend, - TopicsExpress

Dacorum & Tring Road Runners were at it again this weekend, running in a variety of events around the country - and indeed around the world! Kellly Du Buisson (in the green shirt in the photos below) completed the Tough Mudder Midlands, a 12-mile obstacle course testing all-round strength, stamina, teamwork and mental grit. For any of you who have done her Metafit courses, it will come as no surprise that she finished the race in fine form, right up there with her male teammates. Dave Stears finished the British 10km Help for Heroes run, in a very respectable 48.54, on a hot muggy day in London and was pleased to report that he felt his old form coming back. And in yesterday’s St Albans Parkrun, we had four club members out: Simon Walker was first home again, in a fast 19.24 and 20th overall, while Jess Tanner finished in 25.21 (4th SW25-29), Kirsty Russell in 28.39 and young William Ashton ran 28.46 in his first-every Parkrun. Michael Lamb again flew the club colours at the Shongweni Parkrun in Durban, South Africa, finishing 17th overall in a time of 23.48 - a PB for the notoriously tough course, in what was his 131st Parkrun.
