Dad! You are FORTY years old! Its been a crayzeeee ride, huh? I am so thankful The Lord hand picked me to be your daughter. Its been hard, rewarding, trying, but mostly beautiful. My heart melts when I think of the way I am loved by you. Thank you for passing down your personality and humor to me. Thank you for being my best friend all through fifth & sixth grade. Thank you for sacrificing for my better life. Thank you for teaching me good music at a young age. Thank you for the bonfires on the porch in the middle of summer. Thank you for all the embarrassing memories I have with you. Thank you for not letting moments past regardless of how hard it is to say goodbye every year. Thank you for choosing to hold my hand, sing to me, and instill in me my worth and beauty. I will spend the rest of my life trying to make you proud. What I would give to hold your hand or to be held by you today. The older I get the more I miss you and the harder it is to live so far. It never gets easier, but our relationship gets sweeter.
