Dad had been on my mind all day, I just didnt know how I wanted to say what Ive been thinking. He passed four years ago today, and while we all knew it was for the better; that is to stop his sixteen year struggle with his brain injury, it was none the less traumatic. I still miss him daily; our deep conversations about anything that was on our minds, and our all night poker games. He had a code, a sense of honor that he lived by. A code by which I strive to meet daily. How successful Ive been will be left for others to judge. I know the days ahead of me are less in number than those behind me, so every day counts.
