Dad has been running a low grade fever, so today they were running cultures for blood, urine and sputum to find out whats going on. Will have results tomorrow, but they started him on a broad spectrum antibiotics to cover anything that might be happening. He had a lot of coughing going on, more than usual with his traech. His oxygen was turned down to 35% yesterday, trying to wean him off of it now so that he can start doing all of his breathing on his own without assistance. Hes anxious to move to new hospital, he believes he can do more than what hes doing, which is good, but doesnt understand his injuries do limit him. The good thing is, he wants to try... hes concerned about the use of his left arm, but doesnt understand that is gonna take time, and that as time passes, those damaged nerves just might improve... only time will tell! We will be looking at 2 to 3 weeks at the rehabilitation facility, hoping that miracles can happen in that time, but if needed, we will have the option of a nursing facility to further his healing. He still needs prayers for strength & healing, the next few weeks are gonna push him hard...
