Dad told me something poignant earlier. Years ago for a treat he went to the butchers and bought two complete fish, with head, eyes, etc He left it for mum to cook. Anyway he forgot about it. Weeks later he was digging in the garden and uncovered the bodies of the two fish!! Mum had buried them! I asked dad if he was angry with her and he said he never mentioned them again and jus knew to never bring fish that looked like that again.
