Dad told me years ago that technology would bridge the gaps in all communication. It would cause just as many problems as it solved. Hes always had moments of lucid wisdom like that. Technology has aided in building relationships as well as tearing them down. We currently live in a fast paced life. Full of answered questions and encouraged impatience. We want something, we want it now, we can get it now. But, without fully taking the time to be conscious about what it is that it seems were asking for. We dont think before we speak. We rely on autocorrect and Wikipedia. Google. Privacy has become underrated. People care less about consideration. We change our statuses more than we change our underwear. We sit and look at our phones in others company for long periods of time and dont consider it rude or neglectful. Were watching humanity crumble from YouTube. And we care less and less. Its a problem few address. Laugh more. About an actual joke told. Experience people. Put the phone down and walk away from the pc.
