Daddy - Sunday, April 6 Today has been better than yesterday. He had a pretty good night. He has been able to come back down on oxygen today. They have him on 60%, so thats an improvement. He has significant pain, and he got VERY frustrated today (pretty mad--how could he not?). My heart absolutely breaks for him!!! The weekend crew was great this time--thank goodness! We love respiratory lady today. We think shes getting ready to put a smaller tube in the vent which will allow a talk button. If he could speak, it would be SUCH an improvement! We are waiting on some advice from a couple of doctors outside this place that we trust and love dearly. And of course, we are waiting on the Lord. We thank Him for a better day and the good parts of the day-- no fever, lungs sound pretty good, possible talking, lowered oxygen. Love and thanks to all of you. We are praying for the needs of others, as we know we are not alone in our troubles.
