Daddy asked me to tell everyone thank you for all the birthday wishes. He really enjoyed looking at it all, and had me print it all out. Hes had quite a good day! He got several cards in the mail, visitors dropped in, one of the cooks at Lindas came out at lunch time and sang Happy Birthday to him and everyone in the very full cafe clapped and cheered. And if any of you doubt that an 89 year old can eat you should have seen him at supper at our house. He put away fried deer meat, mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet corn, green salad, and chocolate pie (Mamas recipe) like a teenager whod been pitching hay. And he took the rest of the pie home with him! Haha
