Bre: Smile Me: what do you look for in a guy? Bre: how he acts, how he presents himself, is he smart, does he make me laugh. Me: All of that is good but not good enough. While you are here at school there will be a multitude of young men eyeing you or approaching you. You have to distinguish between the potential and the impotent. 1. Distinguish between a boy who dreams and a boy who fantasizes. A boy who dreams works toward that dream as it is reachable. A boy who fantasizes TALKS about what he wants to do while spending his time doing nothing. How he speaks to you when things are going well reveals who he wants to be. How he speaks to you when he is angry reveals who he IS. How does he handle conflict? Does he shut down? When you marry someone you must be able to submit. Submission is a dirty word in the world today. But whoever you think of marrying must be on the bases of your ability to submit not your ability to love. You must submit to each other. Submission means under the mission. You must submit to someone who also is under a mission. The mission is what you are under not a man. The man must also be under the mission.
