Daft Universities: In the good old days, University Students used to determine the political discourse. Ethiopia is being run by a group of former University Students that developed philosophical trajectory while in Campus and ended up leading a revolution that has transformed their country, and seen its economy overtake Kenya in size. Back in those days Kenyan University students would hurl insults at their opponents using complex Greek Mythological figures and complex philosophical terminology that required unlocking via the Encyclopedia Britanica. But the commercialisation and Ethnisation of Universities by having tribal Units for every County has resulted into having certified nincompoops having degrees. Many do not even have the intellectual honesty of using their real names in Social media accounts. Names like Sembe Sembe, Nugu Nugu and Lt Wapi are the norm for the current University students. They cannot even sustain any intellectual discourse without hurling insults. Instead of even using hi tech insults, University Students nowadays use obscene terms like foreskin, kill Kikuyus, slaughter Luos, rudi Central etc when expressing themselves. Clearly Something Has Gone Wrong In Our Universities.
