Daily Affirmation: Habit #3: Anger, Anyone? As you work toward restoring your life after loss, I hope you are able to recognize the power of anger and harness it for growth. Anger that cancer took someone’s life motivated our country to start a Pink Ribbon campaign. How do we do that? By recognizing that it’s okay to be angry – it’s a healthy human emotion that (when accepted and expressed) enables you to heal. Deal with it in constructive ways – discharging its energy in the following ways: 1. Cry 2. Hit a pillow 3. Yell and scream (park a car in a deserted area if you’re feeling shy) 4. Play a competitive sport 5. Hit a punching bag 6. Play a musical instrument as loud as you can 7. Write a letter to your loved one 8. Start a Movement!
