Daily Announcements Good Morning Rascals! Today is Thursday, October 3, 2013. If you order a hot lunch today you will have ground beef stroganoff over wide egg noodles, peas and carrots, mixed fruit and milk. Friday we will have breakfast for lunch! On the menu are pancakes with strawberries, a Colby cheese omelet, celery sticks, a fresh apple and milk. Great job last night to all who went to Culvers. It was fun seeing our teachers outside of school AND our school earned 10% of the food sales! NEWS FROM THE FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER Wow the apple trees are beautifully decorated in the Family Resource Center hallway. Thanks to all of you who decorated the awesome and creative apples. This leads into the September winners. The following friends will need to come down to the Family Resource Center on Thursday from 2:00- 4:00 to collect their prize. Make sure you print your name and room number on the backside of the leaf and return it to the “finished” folder. Exciting News: Our Hunter Safety Course will begin on October 8th! We filled the class up quickly. For those of you who didn’t get registered, we’ll be looking to offer another course at the end of November. Well that’s it for now, Mrs. Witt Homecoming Week Food Drive: WOW! Community Elementary School has collected over 500 canned items so far! Only 2 more days to bring in your food drive items. Let’s try to reach our goal of 7000 items! Teachers please send Miss Geri your class votes today. Our Homecoming Mini Parade will be this Friday at 9:30. The Edgerton Police Department and Middle School Marching Band will lead the parade as we march around the outside grassy area in front of our school. Your parents/special friends are invited to come watch the parade. Remember to be on your best behaviors to get “caught” when you least expect it and receive a Tider Token. WHAT: Edgerton FFA Alumni Pork Chops ‘N’ Pigskin Homecoming Tailgate. WHEN: Friday Oct 4 WHERE: Middle School. DETAILS: Serving will begin following the Homecoming Parade and end with Kickoff. On the menu are pork chops, baked potato, dinner roll, applesauce, ice cream, milk and water. A kid’s hot dog dinner is also available.
