Daily Armour Devotional- 15th January THE MASTERMIND OF THE SYSTEM By: Pst Sunday Bankole “Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time” - Revelation 12:12 Satan is the mastermind of world system. Jesus referred to him as the prince of this world. See John 14:30, John 16:11. Conforming to the pattern of the world means conforming to satanic ideas. The mind or personality or power behind it is the devil. In Revelation 13:16, the beast has power to make the image of the world come alive in people’s hearts and lives. Thereby making them worldly - conforming to the world. 1 John 5:19 warns, And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness. The world system is contrary to God because Satan is the mastermind of the world. The zenith of the world system is represented by the BEAST which symbolizes danger. The things that constitute the cosmos (world system); Politics, Education, Literature, Science, Art, Law, Commerce, Fashion, Music and other entertainment are directed by the enemy. As a child of God, be careful not to love any of these worldly elements. They have a very alluring power that catches peoples fancy but they are satanic baits. PRAYER POINTS •Father, grant me the grace to overcome satanic and worldly allurement. •Every satanic bait aimed at my destruction, be frustrated in Jesus name. •Father, give me the grace to stand for you and to stand in the word.
