Daily Bible Scripture 01/25/2015 KJV Revelation 2:5 5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent. The church of Ephesus had fallen away from their fist love, and was being told to remember from where they had fallen, now something needed to be done about this and the Lord is telling them that they need to repent, and do the first works [or else] he would come quickly and [remove] thy candlestick out of [its place]. They were being given a choice and their future would be according to what they chose to do about this they could choose to repent and remain in Gods Grace are they could choose to ignore the message and be left out. Now to make things right with God there had to be repentance, the message has always been to those who get out of Gods will [to repent]. KJV Hebrews 12:15-17 15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled; 16 Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright. 17 For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears. Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God, this church had a choice, as everybody has a choice.
