This Haunted History Murder Mystery has been written specifically for the YWCA of Helena and features ghosts of our past including Dr. Maria Dean and Frieda Fliegelman. One of today’s well-known Helena citizens will be murdered – but which ghost did it? Tickets are $100 and must be purchased in advance by calling the YWCA at 442-8774. All proceeds will benefit the historic building renovation. - March 6, 12:00 – 1:00 at the Great Northern Hotel: Annual Salute To Women Luncheon: This special Awards Luncheon honors Helena women whose public actions and personal triumphs demonstrate a commitment to the YWCA and Soroptimists’ missions. Severe winter weather throughout January across much of the country forced the cancellation of about 770 Red Cross blood drives, resulting in more than 25,000 uncollected blood and platelet donations. Donate blood by simply calling 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or visit redcrossblood.org to make an appointment or for more information. A blood donor card or driver’s license or two other forms of identification are required at check-in. Individuals who are 17 years of age (16 with parental consent in some states), weigh at least 110 pounds and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood.
