TONIGHT ON 10 7pm - THE VAMPIRE DIARIES COLLEGE DAYS — After spending the summer enjoying her passionate relationship with Damon (Ian Somerhalder), and making sure that Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) is adjusting after his return from the dead, Elena (Nina Dobrev) is thrilled to move into the dorm at nearby Whitmore College with her new roommate, Caroline (Candice Accola). Still believing that Bonnie (Kat Graham) has been traveling all summer and will soon join them, Elena and Caroline are surprised when a student named Megan (guest star Hayley Kiyoko) shows up and announces that she will be sharing their dorm room. Katherine (Nina Dobrev) makes an unexpected appearance at the Salvatore house and pleads with Damon to help her now that she is human and vulnerable to her enemies. Matt (Zach Roerig) and Rebekah (Claire Holt) return to Mystic Falls after spending a wild summer in Europe, where they met a mysterious beauty named Nadia (guest star Olga Fonda). Elena can’t shake the feeling that something is wrong with Stefan (Paul Wesley), and Silas (Paul Wesley) makes a terrifying appearance at the “End of Summer” party in the town square. 8pm - THE ORIGINALS A FLASHBACK TO THE 1800s — When Rebekah (Claire Holt) arrives in New Orleans at her brother Elijah’s (Daniel Gillies) insistence, she meets Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin), who gives her some unexpected news. Concerned that her brother Klaus is up to no good, Rebekah seeks help from a reluctant Sophie (Daniella Pineda.) At her wits’ end, Hayley takes matters into her own hands, but things quickly take a dangerous turn. Determined to uncover Marcel’s (Charles Michael Davis) secret weapon, Klaus stays one step ahead and executes his plan. Meanwhile, after a run-in with Marcel, Rebekah is reminded of all the anger and disappointment Klaus has caused her throughout the years. Finally, Marcel enlists Davina’s (Danielle Campbell) help in his own dangerous plan. - Tweets of the Day! SINGING FOR JOY — WITH GUEST STAR APPEARANCE BY KEVIN MCHALE (“GLEE”) HART OF DIXIE MAKING AMENDS — After spending the summer in New York City, Zoe (Rachel Bilson) is ready to make her move more permanent, but first she must return to BlueBell for one last thing. Upon her return Zoe, discovers that no one in town is very happy to see her, except for Lavon (Cress Williams). Desperate for Brick (Tim Matheson) to give her a good reference, she agrees to help him track down George (Scott Porter) and get him to resurrect the Founders Day parade that has been canceled. Needing to find George quickly, Zoe enlists Lemon’s (Jaime King) help but accidentally discovers Lemon is hiding a dirty little secret. There is no admission but a boot will be passed for donations to aid the department in their efforts to protect residents and property from loss due to fire. - East Helena Fun Run and Carnival Saturday, May 31st @ 10:00 AM Kennedy Park, East Helena The annual East Helena Fun Run and Carnival will be held on May 31st in the Kennedy Park in East Helena. The Carnival starts at 10:00 AM and runs until 2:00 PM. The Under 8 Kids Race which is free starts at 9:30 while the 5k & 10K races start at 10:00 AM. Registration forms are available on line at EHQEF.weebly. Print out the registrations and all entries will be accepted the day of the event.
