Who is the treasure of your life? Child of God, I may not know the treasure of your life. I may not even know where you place your trust; but one thing you must know is that Jesus Christ of Nazareth is the treasure of my life. He is the most valuable person in my life. As a religious, I offered my right of having my own wife, my own children and even my own property because of my love for Jesus Christ. Jesus is everything to me. This is the kind of radical sacrifice our Lord Jesus Christ is talking about in the gospel of Mathew 13:44-55. In this parable Jesus said, “The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and covered up; then in his joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.” Child of God, if you know what the kingdom is all about you will be ready to sacrifice all that you have to acquire God’s kingdom. A merchant went and sold all that he had so as to acquire the fine pearls of great value. This fine peal is nothing to be compared with the kingdom of heaven. Our Lord Jesus Christ used all the necessary parables to describe the beauty and the value of God’s kingdom. He did not leave any stone unturned. Child of God, heaven is real! It is the most beautiful place you can imagine. It is the best place one can be. There is nothing in this world we can use to describe heaven. It is the most peaceful and most beautiful home you can imagine. Heaven is a place where all your dreams and longings will be met. Child of God, whatever you can do to inherit the kingdom of heaven pls do it. You will never regret it and it shall be well with you, in Jesus name – Amen!
