Daily Devotion: Insignificance R. C. Sproul writes, “Men are never duly touched and impressed with a conviction of their insignificance, until they have contrasted themselves with the majesty of God.” This comes from the book Crazy Love by Francis Chan, if you haven’t read it I definitely recommend it. Psalms 19:1-4 “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge. There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard. Their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.” I believe too often we get caught up in ourselves or praising other things when just by looking around us at the sky, trees, and animals that we should be humbled by our creator and want to worship him. His art, His handiwork, and His creation all echo how glorious He is. Let us not become numb of the majesty of His creation and try to stay in a constant attitude of praise and worship to the only King worthy of this.
