Daily Devotion October 15, 2014 Thankfulness in the Midst of Everything “Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise. Give thanks to him, bless his name” Psalm 100:4. Thankfulness is something that can be hard to remember to incorporate into our everyday lives. We tend to get caught up in the things that might be going wrong in our lives, and forget the many more numerous things that are going right. Negative things always seem to catch our attention and become more prominent in our minds. It’s at those times that we need to take a moment and ponder all the blessings we have. Even those things that may seemingly be going wrong, might turn into blessings in the end. It’s important to thank God for all the things we experience—good and bad. The Spirit just might be at work in those bad things and before we know it, they are blessings and another reason to give thanks and praise to the Lord who never fails. Prayer: “Dearest Lord, thank You for the many blessings I enjoy every day. Thank You at all times and in all circumstances. Amen.” Jamie Witt
