Daily Devotion Pastor Roney Mathews 12/07/2014 Reading:- 2 Peter 1: 3 - 16 Meditation:- Dunamis in Grace Peter, once denied Jesus, now completely clings to His divine power. Because he was an eyewitness of His majesty, authority of sovereign power. DUNAMIS is the Greek word for divine power. Peter when identified the grace of Jesus, he started manifesting the authority right at the gate of Beautiful temple. Grace of Jesus takes us to next level of operations. He says if some one lacks these qualities, they are blind. Vs 3,4 shows us that this as a DONE business. For everything is DONE, one has to add DILIGENCE to the DIVINE PROMISES. Then you will have 8 steps connected one after the other. 1. Faith 2. Virtues(Christian energy) 3. Knowledge(Intelligence) 4. Temperance(Self control) 5. Patience(Steadfastness) 6. Godliness(Piety) 7. Brotherly affection 8. Charity (Chistian love) If you stand in His grace, its easy to add in the course of time. He helps us because He is the one who called us. CONCLUSION Brethren, be more eager to make sure your calling and election; for if you do this you will never stumble. DUNAMIS in CHARIS will help you.
