Daily Devotion Pastor Roney Mathews 18/07/2014 Reading:- Exodus 4: 1-17 Meditation:- Revolutionary, now LEADER Moses was the first revolutionary in the bible history. He was for justice. When Moses saw an Egyptian beating his Hebrew brethren, he killed the Egyptian and hid him in the sand. Next day he saw two Hebrew men quarelling & fighting, he interfered to stop them. When he heard Pharaoh sought to slay Moses for killing an Egyptian, he escaped to Midian, where he fought with shepherds who troubled the daughters of Reuel. When Yahweh called Moses for His ministry, he presented a detailed list of his inabilities. 1. No leadership ability 3:11 2. Absence of authority in him 3:13 3. Fear of Israelites trust upon his words 4:1 4. Absence of Communication skill 4:10 5. Absence of boldness 4:13 But later we found him as the strongest & most powerful leader in the history of mankind who led 30 lakhs people out of Egypt. YHWH Lord was with Moses to lead Israelites out of Egypt then, now He is in us to lead many to SALVATION. Billy Graham, Reinhard Bonnke etc. led crores of people to Christ. CONCLUSION Many of us were revolutionaries before coming to Christ. After coming to Him we find excuses to avoid His ministry by looking at our inabilities. Look at His FULLNESS instead of our WEAKNESS. PRAYER Abba Thank you for giving me your qualities to be a leader to save so many souls.
