Daily Devotion September 1, 2014 Apple of His Eye “Keep me as the apple of the eye; Hide me under the shadow of thy wings.” Psalm 17:8. God takes care of those who place their faith in Him and follow His commandments. He certainly considers them the apple of His eye. In His presence we find love, peace, protection, and forgiveness. When we experience loneliness, disappointments, discouragement, depression, or when we need a place of refuge in the midst of chaos, we can be sure to find help in God’s presence. Whatever our circumstances, we have the assurance that God will be with us because we are the apple of His eyes. Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for your unconditional love for me which gives me the assurance that I am the apple of your eyes. Help me to love others with the same love that you have loved me.
