Daily Devotional: Eyes to See by Faith Hebrews 11:1; 11:6 “Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see…without faith it is impossible to please God…” The reality of the unseen, spiritual realm is rejected by the materialistic, rationalistic western worldview. Yet it is precisely this quality of faith which is required by God for those who desire to know him and walk through life with him. Without faith in the unseen we are unable to cooperate with God for his purposes here on earth. God reveals and speaks to those who seek him regarding that which lies ahead, so that we can cooperate with him and pray into being that which has only been a promise. This capacity to cooperate with God for the fulfillment of his promises and Word is what marked the life of every God-pleasing man or woman of faith. Will God find faith on the earth today? Jesus, open my eyes that I could see and cooperate with you in my generation, for your glory.
