Daily Dose of Deborah Wednesday, October 29, 2014 Today. Before you eat and drink anything... NOTICE what your thoughts are towards your food! Are you telling yourself, oh I shouldnt eat this . Its bad for me..? Or Man I hate salad I wish I could eat something else. I could if I werent so fat.. Are you saying.. Im only going to have one more and I will not have ANY sweets at all tomorrow.. And notice again AFTER You eat.. Where are your thoughts? Are you saying.. omg I just ate too much.. I knew I couldnt stick to eating healthy.. or tomorrow, i am going to do this right! Or. ha! I am so happy I am eating the bare minimum.. I am going to get skinny in no time if I keep this up..! Notice how you relate to your food.. Mst of this is happening unconsciously! Take the time to make yourself aware of your thoughts regarding everything you consume! Before you eat/ drink, make PEACE with whatever it is you are taking in. Remember- food is ENERGY. When you place mindful attention on the ENERGY you are putting into your body, you will begin to slowly change your relationship to food! Id love your feedback as you become more and more aware.
