Daily I am blessed to see the Steubenville Police Dept reaching out to the poor and assisting them (and us). Today, much like many days, I experienced an officer paying for phone minutes for a homeless, 23 yr old woman. This officer used his own money to try to bring this woman hope, he called me trying to make certain that one more soul was not left to streets tonight. This may seem small, however, to me I am grateful to see such kindness and love from our local police to those most in need.
