Daily Meditation And it came to pass from the time that he had made him overseer in his house, and over all that he had, that the LORD blessed the Egyptians house for Josephs sake; and the blessing of the LORD was upon all that he had in the house, and in the field. – Genesis 39:5 We learn because of Joseph God blessed the household of Joseph and also the house of the Egyptian. Is your house is a house of blessing? For your sake are the people of your hose are blessed. And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.(Acts 16:31). One day Jesus told Zacchaeus that he want to stay in his house. And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and saw him, and said unto him, Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for to day I must abide at thy house.(Lk 19:5). When Jesus said these words Zacchaeus immediately realize that there are things in his house with are not to the liking of the master. He offered himself purifying his house. He returned the ill gotten money to the people from whom he collected. And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold.(Lk 19:8). How is your house today? God wants to come and dwell in your place today. Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.(Rev 3:20). You need wisdom to cover your house in to house of blessing. Wisdom hath builded her house, she hath hewn out her seven pillars: (Pro 9:1). This wisdom is not attainted by formal worldly education. This knowledge and understanding tutored through God Himself to you. This wisdom is preached tom you by the Holy Spirit living with in your self. God has created your house with his understanding. Your wife is the gift of the Lord. House and riches are the inheritance of fathers: and a prudent wife is from the LORD.(Pro 19:14). Your wife is fruit bearing wine plant. Your children are blessing for your inheritance. They are the olive plants. Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.(Ps 127:3). Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.(Ps 128:3). God has created your house with greatness. There must be shouts of joy and rejoicing in that house all days. The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.(Ps 118:15). When God builds your house hold it becomes a great blessing. Then any problems, trials, tribulation, losses, pains, sufferings will not affect your house hold and even so God gives you strength to endure under it. Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: (Mat 7:24). Today we see in many families separation, divorce and fights and irritations. The household resembles more like hell rather than the house of God. Because you have not built the house according to the word of God you meet with unpleasantness, bickering and trials in your life. Many people hate to go back to their house after the days work. Beloved, therefore you build the house according to the word of God then God will protect your house surrounding it with a wall of fire. For I, saith the LORD, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.(Zech 2:5). God will stand by you and fight your enemies for you. And it came to pass, that in the morning watch the LORD looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians, And took off their chariot wheels, that they drave them heavily: so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel; for the LORD fighteth for them against the Egyptians.(Exo 14:24-25). Because God is surrounded your household with a wall of fire no enemy can pass through it. Any thing that is set against you such us conjuring, witchcraft, evil eyes, jealousies all these things will be burnt by the fire of wall. Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.(Ps 122:7). The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them. – Psalms 34:7 I hope you are blessed through the word of God.
