Daily Prayer Thursday October 16, 2014 The Lord is my shepherd, ... He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. - Psalm 23:3b Dear heavenly Father, I have grown used to depending on you and your word to guide me in my life. If I am left to my own reasoning I easily get off the path and wander away from the right way to think or act. Thats why I love so many passages of Scripture. They are your gentle shepherds voice calling me back to grace, morality and peace. If I spend any time at all meditating on your word, I see the lies I had been following and their effect on my life. I am a vulnerable sheep that needs his Shepherd. As I get out into the world today, guide my mind down the right paths so that I fulfill the purposes you have for me in every relationship.
