Daily Prayer for Monday November 11, 2013 (Veterans Day) Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father, I praise you for the courageous service of the men and women who have served in the military of our country. Their willingness to put their life on the line enables me to enjoy freedom - religious and civil. Especially bless those veterans who were wounded or are suffering a post-traumatic stress disorder. Give them healing and new opportunities for a life of service to you and to their country. Help them to know that you are present with them always, even in times of trouble. Comfort us all knowing that Christ, our King, made the ultimate sacrifice at the cross, dying for his people that we may have eternal life. Amen. Pastor Brad Kerkow
