Daily Spark--my poetry blog is on again.... Was preoccupied with personal business. Stimulus augmentation of the major kind. Got some kind of sad unhappy resolution, and, can return to poetry and the cultivation of the precious fragility of the bejeweled mind. Paul Simon in I am a Rock sings I have my books and poetry to protect me. When my blog is set up, I ll let everyone know. I am honored and humbled by and I appreciate all of the warm responses I have received so far. Thank you. This assignment is called STUCK. I guess I ve gotten stuck. Most of us have. I ll keep this simple. Have you ever been stuck in an elevator? What did you feel like doing? What did you think about? Is there one thing you really wished you had with you, like a chocolate bar?, or a CD player? Dont feel that you have to answer all of these questions. Or, any of them for that matter. Just use them as a starting point for a stuck poem. You know. For inspiration . Here goes mine; I cast a shadow. Its part of me. I must accept it in its entirety. Jim Martin Your turn.
