Daily Word of Hope The Daily Word of Hope Devotional Bible Fact: In ancient Israel, men sealed a deal by exchanging sandals (Ruth 4:7). † Don’t Stop Believing † Now Joseph had a dream, and when he told it to his brothers they hated him even more. Genesis 37:5 ESV Joseph was about forty years old now. He was second-in-command of the most powerful nation on earth. As his brothers bowed down in front of him, he could still remember the dreams that God had given him when he was just a teenager, over twenty years ago. They were now coming to pass. God had shown Joseph through dreams that he would be raised up to be a leader, and that his brothers would come and bow down to him. He should probably have kept that to himself, but he told his brothers about it and they sold the “Dreamer” as a slave. Even that did not stop his dreams from coming to pass, but instead helped to fulfill them. No one has to believe in the dream that God has given you in order for it to come to pass. Even if they despise you and do things to harm you, it will just help fulfill what God has told you. Don’t stop believing what God has told you secretly. Though the vision tarries, wait for it.
