Daily devotion 25th Jan REFUSE TO BE REFUSED “Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me”. Luke 18:5 In our scripture today, a widow met an unjust man holding her miracle and she was persistent in her request because of what she knew. She knew the judge was holding her breakthrough and was in a capacity to release it and she refused to give up and walk away as some believers would do. She kept going until she got what she wanted. Unfortunately many believers give up so easily. They ask once, twice and the next thing, they have accepted it as a cross to carry and they are quick to spiritualise it. Beloved, you can find scriptures for anything you want, but don’t let the devil rob you of that which belongs to you. I challenge you today to REFUSE to be refused. Stand your ground and if anyone should give up, it should be the devil. Find out what God has said concerning you and hold on firm to it until it comes to pass. Do not stop going to God’s presence, there is power in consistency. As you remain consistent, you will weary your adversary. You will win in the situation. You will scale over every conspiracy, gang up and lies against you. You have been raised to sit together with God. Every sickness and diseases ends today. This is your hour of victory. Your season of breakthrough has come; every delay is over in your life. You will shine your shine. Don’t you know it was the same thing the devil did to Adam. God commanded Adam to multiply and subdue the whole earth and gave him dominion but the devil came subtly and asked “has God said” that is what he wants to do to cast doubt in your mind. In other words, Satan is saying, you know God but do you really know what God said about you? Child of God, don’t become a cheap victim in devil’s hand, don’t you ever entertain the doubt the devil cast in your mind nor tolerate it. Never listen to the devils lies. Don’t let him jump on your shoulders and tell you what to do, don’t romance with his lies and don’t ever consider nor allow yourself to doubt what God says. God’s word will always come to pass. God’s word is the final authority. God called you blessed, so you are blessed. Today you are blessed; blessings shall follow you all through this year. Go and manifest the goodness of God.
