Daily excerpt from my book, Why We Are Born Today, we move on to a section titled: * Power and sensitivity * Problems are an essential part of our life, but this doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be helping others because “they chose such problems themselves.” First, there is nothing we should or shouldn’t do; instead, everything is about how we choose to handle it. We are here to experience love and its various aspects, and helping others may well be the path to do this. In a sense, they may be presenting themselves with supersized problems so that people around them can experience compassion. We are very desensitized these days. Some people even watch murder for entertainment—on the screen. Such people may ridicule sensitive souls as naive, as if being insensitive is the sign of wisdom and strength. Don’t give in to such peer pressure. Robots have no sensitivity, but that is not what we aspire to be. True power of life embraces sensitivity and compassion. True power is not arrogant.
