Daisy M. (Fanaro) Harley, 88, of Boyertown, PA, widow of Charles F. Harley Sr., died Saturday at Reading Hospital. Born in Swedeland, PA, she was a daughter of the late Filomeno Fanaro and Congetta (Bruno) Fanaro. She was employed by Fanaro Brothers Variety Department Store in Collegeville as a store clerk for five years. She later worked on the assembly line for over 10 years at Tung-Sol in Boyertown. She also worked for Jacobs Aircraft during WWII. She was devoted to her family and loved to help others. Daisy had a great love for animals. Surviving are three sons, Francis “Frank” R. Harley of Boyertown, John F. Harley, husband of Linnette of Boyertown and Charles “Bink” F. Harley Jr., husband of Judy of Amityville; one daughter, Patricia Taroski of Collegeville; one brother, Michael D. Fanaro of Collegeville; six granddaughters, Nikki, Maxine, Kim, Michelle, Sandy and Lynn; four grandsons, Chris, Matt, Ryan and Tucker and 20 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers, Anthony and Ernest and one sister, Mary Castenova. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 11AM at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, 1312 Old Swede Road, Douglassvile. Friends and relatives will be received from 9:30-11AM at the church. Burial will be in East Vincent UCC Cemetery in Spring City. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to St. Paul’s UCC Memorial Fund, 1312 Old Swede Road, Douglassville, PA 19518. Morrell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. (morrellfuneralhome)
