Daisy goes to Jewish Day School every Sunday morning and every Sunday morning they practice taking a collection of tzedakah, money for those in need. Well, we forgot to give her change in the beginning, but today she went with a pocket full of coins. When it came time to give tzedakah another child had not brought any money to offer, so Daisy gave him some of hers. I spend time with her teaching her about beautiful behavior, and how her internal beauty is much more important that her external beauty. Today, again, I got to praise her for her beautiful behavior. I dont know how much she processed what she did when she did it... but giving another money to give that money to those in need... it is beautiful. These little ones are the ones who can change the world... Ive taught her that it is nice to share, but only when she feels comfortable... and that sharing with others is a beautiful behavior. My kid... shes a beauty. (excuse my bragging)
