Dalkeith Miners Welfare is keen to develop a multi-purpose community hub on land, known locally as Teletubby Hill, owned by the Miners Club. Midlothian Council is providing us with some specific support to develop the idea but, as the main intention is to provide a facility for use by the local people, we are keen to ensure that local people have every opportunity to feed their thoughts and opinions into the planning phase. We want to ensure that any development is in response to the needs of local people, filling gaps and complementing existing facilities and services in the area.
