Dallas is a 14 years young paint mare with lots of personality and go. Standing approx 15.3 and 1100+ lbs she is the althetic type build. Big bodied mare and the looks to boot! Knows her arena work but I think she prefers trail. She likes her work outs to be non repetitive and likes trying new things and new places. She is a more forward fast paced horse so I do recommend at least an intermediate + rider for her. No buck, rear, bolt, or kick just very forward. Loves to be groomed and loved on and loves to be sprayed with the hose. Gets along great with other horses and not a mean bone in her body. UTD on vaccines (done august 15th), teeth (done july 2013), feet (done Sept 17th). She is well cared for horse. Only vices is she doesnt like to be tied up tight, doesnt care for fly spray (just throw a lead over her neck and she will let you spray) and doesnt like to be ridden in a tight rein or a heavy hand. She does need to be kept on grass hay (I feed orchard) to keep her sound. She has been vet checked and x rayed. No navicular, ring bone, no rotation, etc but alfalfa causes her to be off. She has a nice stop, neck reins, side passes, and rolls back. Bends, flexes, yields her front, and disengages her hind end. Will follow you around like a puppy dog. Very catty horse and enjoys competitive work. Maybe poles, barrels, or cows? Only selling to buy my 2 sons a beginner safe horse to start learning how to ride.
