#Damascus city and province, 04-11-2013 (with six videos): This was the midday summary of events in Damascus city and province for Monday November 4th, 2013 from the Yalda Coordinators Group: Regime forces are continuing their aerial and/or ground bombardment of areas across Damascus city and province in tandem with the crippling siege which means that famine and disease are now endemic in all these areas. The world is continuing its silence. Regime warplanes carried out more bombardment of residential areas in Douma today, killing a mother and her two young daughters, and injuring several other civilian residents. FSA forces are continuing to heroically defend the town from regime troops efforts to storm it. In Zabadani, regime forces stationed in the mountains to the east of the town again subjected the town to ferocious bombardment, particularly targeting an area inhabited by families displaced from elsewhere in the province by regime bombardment. In Yarmouk Palestinian refugee camp, regime forces stationed on top of tower blocks in Al Qaaa neighbourhood overlooking the camp again are continuing to subject the camp to relentless rocket launcher bombardment. Al Assali and Hajjar al Aswad are also under ferocious bombardment by regime forces using rocket launchers and heavy artillery. In Moadamiyeh, many more people have been injured in the regimes relentless ongoing bombardment. In Jaramana, one person was killed in regime mortar bombardment so far today and many more injured. Heavy fighting is continuing in a number of areas between FSA and regime forces, with Assads troops, supported by paramilitaries from the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, Hezbollah and the Iraqi Abu Fadl al Abbas Brigades, attempting to storm Al Sabineh after using heavy artillery, tanks, surface-to-surface missiles and rocket launchers to bombard the town. The heroes of the FSA have again managed to repulse their attempts, destroying four of their armoured vehicles and killing several of the Iraqi paramilitaries, forcing the regime troops and their accomplices to retreat.
