Damascus submits a draft statement on fighting terrorism.. the Opposition Coalition refuses. The Syrian delegation, during the morning session with the opposition Coalition delegation by the presence of the U.N envoy to Syria Lakhdar Ebrahimi, submitted a draft statement on fighting terrorism, stressed on the need of the international cooperation for confronting terrorism. The Syrian draft statement emphasized on the need to refrain from providing any form of active or passive support, funding or administration to groups or people involved in terrorist acts and to take steps to prevent it and not to provide a safe haven for them.
