Dames is looking for an immediate foster home for this BEAUTIFUL three legged boy!!! He needs it quickly. He can be in the Knoxville or the Nashville area if we can find a forever home. Magnum is a 1.5 year old Dane. With three beautiful legs!!! He was on Craigslist for free, and when inquiring about him, was told he found a place. He was hit by a car in march and broke his leg in the growth plate and therefore they had it amputated. He is still pretty underweight but very slowly gaining. Im assuming the weight loss was post surgery. I had to help him. So Ive had him for maybe 3 weeks. He cant be crated, he hates it! But he does well in my kitchen with a baby gate but will open any box, jar (yes jar) or any container with food. He also will get into a trash can first opportunity. He Likes the other dogs. Highly interested and barks and chases cats. Neutered. And utd on vaccines. He does well with kids. He gets around well on his leg and often falls on his behind when bumped. My concern has been my ability to find him the perfect permanent home. One that understands the not so pleasant fate of him having one rear leg and loving him and doing all they can for his needs and pains. He bonds with people quickly and is highly emotionally demanding! But will be a truly amazing pet for someone.
