Damn! Nas brings out Lauryn Hill #Coachella2014. Pretty Lucky I got to see both of them Live up front! Truth is I turned down a gig with Sola Rosa when they were asked to play Raggamuffin back in 2010. Organisers did a last minute announcement Lauryn Hill was performing, straight up called Sola Rosas manager back and said I can do the gig now haha (bawse). But she shut down backstage though so I wasnt allowed backstage again. Still stoked we shared the same stage. Then the awesome Malcom Haynes (Glastonbury Festivals Dance Village Programmer & Coordinator) let me watch Nas backstage at Glastonbury even though Nas requested to shut down backstage with no access to anyone but his crew too.
