Damn! This episode was fantastic. There were a few weird awkward bits, but overall this episode was great. The cross-over with Arrows Felicity Smoak was well done, as her character brought along funny awkward scenes and made Barrys romance problems enjoyable - rather than being something that the audience had to tolerate in previous episodes. The Barry and Felicity scenes were really cute and well done and made the episode in terms of character interaction. There was also tension in Barrys team, which was ok. The episode deviated from the boring villain of the week formula, and opted for developing a formidable foe called Captain Cold - someone that definitely deserves a spot in the Flashs gallery of villains. Well definitely be seeing him in future conflicts with the Flash for sure. Im glad the series has decided to invest in a relatively great villain for the long run. The actions scenes this ep were superb, and may have have been better than the action scenes and cgi in Spiderman 1! It was epic in scale, and the new ice effects was consistent in quality with the other effects in the series. The balance between all these facets was just right, and made it quite enjoyable to watch. Seriously, just skip the first 3 eps of this series, especially if youre a fan of Arrow. This episode conveniently sums up all the plot points and problems Barry has to deal with. It also helps you forget the logic breaks in the previous episodes.
